The Spark is the debut album from our Alchymical Muse project.

Alchymical Muse is an innovative and experimental project, based around voice and cello at its core, but encompassing huge diversity. The Alchymical sound combines spine-tingling vocal harmonies in wordless lyrics, choral chants, Gaelic lament and flourishes of poetry, with haunting cello, celtic harp, dark tumbling guitars and a diversity of strings, drums and chimes.

The Spark was released on 30th October 2016 and is available as a limited edition CD (100 individually numbered copies) and a digital download, both available from Bandcamp.

The CD comes in a beautifully hand-crafted package with gold embossed print on a black sleeve, with silver print on the reverse. Printed on 100% recycled card. Each sleeve is individually hand-printed and numbered. The package is supplied in a clear outer wrapping made from corn starch, a renewable resource which is biodegradable.

Copies will be available by the end of November but if you buy it now as a pre-order on Bandcamp you will get immediate access to the digital version of the album, which is available now.
